Kebbi State Governor, Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris has been formally decorated with the fellowship of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN.

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris has been formally decorated with the fellowship of the  Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN.
He was adored with the insignia of FCNA by the National President of ANAN and Chairman of the Council, Dr. James Ekerare Neminebor, at the opening of the Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Programme, MCPD, of the association holding in Birnin Kebbi, this Tuesday.   
                        
Dr. James Neminebor told the gathering that Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris deserved the fellowship in recognition of his commendable role as excellent manager of financial and human resources, in addition to incorporating several fellows of ANAN into his administration which facilitated ongoing urban and rural transformation in the State by the government. 

The ANAN President was also full of praises for Governor Kauran Gwandu for providing the necessary material and financial support towards the successful hosting of the ANAN training programme.  

 Dr. James Neminebor made similar commendation on Governor Ahmad Aliyu of Sokoto state, who was present at the programme for his warm reception to ANAN delegation during their stop over in Sokoto on their way to Birnin Kebbi.                                            Addressing the participants, Governor Nasir Idris thanked ANAN for the honour done to him and informed them that he has approved the provision of operational vehicle to the association and has mandated the state Ministry of Lands and Housing to handle the issue of office accommodation for necessary action.

 Comrade Kauran Gwandu highlighted the achievement of his administration on the development of infrastructure, education, agriculture, healthcare, and improvement of the wellbeing of the people.  

Furthermore, he narrated the monumental achievement on enhancing the welfare of workers, saying his administration has been regular in the payment of salaries, gratuity, pension and leave grant.  

Sokoto state governor, Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, also addressed the gathering. 

Top government functionaries at the event include Kebbi State deputy governor, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida, the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida and the Head of Service, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena, Commissioners and Special Advisers.
